Michael J. Doster

Michael Doster is a member and head of the firm’s business, real estate, and estate planning group. Over the course of his career, he has been a member of and had leadership roles in many civic, service, trade, and charitable organizations. Currently he limits his active involvement to organizations which promote community and economic development.

  • Representing a Chicago-based high-end shopping center developer in the development of a lifestyle center that is the first of its kind in the St. Louis metropolitan area
  • Developing new municipal planning and zoning ordinances to provide for the development of a large-scale mixed-use development
  • Leading a team of attorneys in a transaction that resulted in the sale of a majority interest in a highly successful international marketing firm to a hedge fund; from inception of the firm over 25 years ago, serving as general counsel
  • Leading a team of attorneys in the sale of related biotechnology companies to an international public pharmaceutical company; serving as general counsel of the firm for over 15 years
